It must be something in the air. Did you see the story on the national news tonight about the older woman who was roughed up by police for, among other things I presume, not watering her lawn? The city has apologized, but the charges stand.

I'm so mortified, I don't really know what to say.

Mr. Brown Thumb (http://mrbrownthumb.blogspot.com/) just wrote a post entitled, 'She fought the lawn but the lawn won', about the woman Dharma mentions in her above comment.

There was a recent case in Toronto where a woman is suing the city for the plants they cut down ... she had a natural garden in her front and it was cut down.

These cases seem to be abounding lately.

What the hell do people have against beautiful plants? What a bunch of morons! This is the kind of thing that my pathetic, litigous, insane neighbors (nicknamed "The Bastard Brothers") would try...some losers just can't stand to see someone else happy. And I'll bet it's a gag attempt due to politics as well...pinhead is trying to make her lose credibility, but I hope it backfires in his face! (Heh...I don't even live there, but it fires me up, too!)
